The Del Sur Kennel Club, a proud member of the American Kennel Club, actively participates in various activities, including Conformation, obedience, and FastCAT, while serving the San Diego dog shows community in the San Diego, California area.
Each May, we host a weekend of San Diego dog shows that feature three all-breed conformation shows alongside Obedience and Rally Obedience Trials running from Friday to Sunday. Additionally, we host National Owner Handler Series competitions, 4-6-month Beginner Puppy and Junior Showmanship competitions each day.
On Saturday only, we also host a Pee Wee class designed for children aged 5 to 9 years.
We welcome AKC Canine Partners (mixed breeds) to participate in our Junior Showmanship, Obedience, and Rally Obedience Trials. Don’t forget to check our Calendar page for upcoming events and to download information packages when available, including details on our FastCAT competitions.
New member candidates must attend at least three General Membership meetings and then complete and submit an application form signed by two (2) current members in good standing. The application is then reviewed by the Board of Directors, who will make a recommendation to the general membership. The application is subsequently voted upon at the first available general membership meeting following the Board's review.
